Poster announcing the 1977 exhibition ‘Les Indiens D’Amerique du Nord’ which opened as part of the permanent collection of the Musée de L’Homme in February of that year. The museum’s collection, which evolved from the Musée d’Ethnographie du Trocadero, had been developed since 1897 and was famously consulted by modern artists such as Picasso as a source of inspiration in the early 20th century.
