Børge Mogensen Medium Teak Bookcase

A bastion of the Danish Modern design movement, to us, Børge Mogensen embodies integrity. His functional and diplomatic approach to furniture design paved the way for Danish design culture to be disseminated across the globe. ​

His bookcases are a prime example of his manipulation of seemingly simple materials and shapes in a sleek way that retains their function; the low proportions deviate from a more traditional tall bookcase and the use of teak veneer makes for a rich juxtaposition of form and function.
