Grete Jalk Brown Sofa

Known mostly for her bent plywood furnishings, Grete Jalk was one of Denmark’s most prolific female modernists. Having mostly designed unique experimental functional objects which are displayed in museums for their ingenuity, Jalk also designed quotidian pieces for consumers.

This brown settee is similar in silhouette to the JH180 model, though this particular piece is upholstered in a brown material unique to any of Jalk's commercially manufactured designs.
