Johannes Sorth Bureau

Designed by Johannes Sorth for Bornholms Møbelfabrik, this mid-century Danish Modern bookcase bureau expertly combines functional storage with timeless Scandinavian aesthetics. Crafted in rich rosewood, the unit features an upper section with adjustable open shelving set above a sleek tambour door compartment, ideal for concealing smaller items or desktop essentials.

Just beneath, a pull-out desk surface transitions the piece seamlessly into a functional workstation. The lower cabinet comprises three spacious drawers with classic recessed rectangular wooden handles, providing ample concealed storage. The unit is elevated on solid, tapered round legs connected by a clean horizontal stretcher.
