Oak Milking Stool

This three-legged stool is a refined interpretation of the traditional milking stool, celebrating the organic warmth of solid wood through an ergonomic, mid-century lens. The design is centered around a beautifully sculpted  seat, featuring deep, hand-carved contours that provide an ergonomic surface. Crafted from a dense, medium-toned teak the wood exhibits a smooth, tactile finish and a vibrant grain that follows the curves of the seat.

Its structural stability is provided by three round tapered legs, which are splayed outward in a tripod configuration to ensure balance on uneven surfaces while maintaining a slim, minimalist profile. The absence of hardware and the use of visible joinery where the legs meet the seat showcase a commitment to handcrafted functionalism, making it as much a sculptural object as a practical seating solution.
