Esko Pajamies Sofa

This unique three seater sofa titled the 'Bonanza' sofa was part of the Bonanza furniture series created by Finnish designer Esko Pajamies in the 1960s for furniture manufacturer Asko. 

This incredible piece features a strong angled oak frame, it is expertly crafted utilising the necessary technical processes as unique design details. Emphasising the exposed box joints and celebrating the mortise and tenon joints. It is upholstered in a striking blue boucle fabric that pairs wonderfully with the light colouration of the wooden frame. This piece is stunningly crafted and a statement example of the essence of mid-century design.
