Print of Folmer Bendtsen Painting

This piece is a wonderful example of artist Folmer Bendtsen's work. Born in 1907 in Copenhagen Bendtsen had his debut exhibition in 1935. His paintings depicted the life of workers in places such as Nørrebro and Sydhaven and he became known for his paintings of the working class. Bendtsen exhibited extensively and his works can be seen in a number of Danish museums. This particular piece is a print of one of his paintings seen in a tasteful silver metal frame that complements the cool tones of the print.
