Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen Model 7702 Leather Sofa

Designed for the duo’s debut collection ‘Kongenserien’ in 1969, the Model 7702 sofa exemplifies Thygesen and Sørensen’s popularization of French caning in the Danish market. This particular sofa was likely manufactured in the 1980s by Botium, and features the original caning and leather upholstery which has developed a rich, caramel patina.  

This piece has acquired some character over its lifetime and has a few watermarks on the upholstery.
