Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sorensen Set of Four Dining Chairs

This set of four dining chairs from the '8000 Series' were designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen for Magnus Olesen in 1981. They feature a wonderful curved shaped throughout, with the bent birch frame creating a unique flow to each piece. The rounded back rest is wonderfully ergonomic, with the curved lines following the frame in the bent legs and circular seat. The warm tones of the light birch are complemented with the cognac coloured leather upholstery inlaid within the frame. The set of chairs align wonderfully and the curvature of the frame enable all four to stack perfectly flush upon one another.
