Tage Poulsen Red Leather and Oak Chair

Created by Tage Poulsen in Denmark during the 1960s, this chair is a wonderfully unique piece. Featuring strong angles the piece has a great square shape throughout the whole design.

The robust ladder frame is made of a wonderful warm oak, in which the soft light tones of the wooden frame pair strikingly with the rich patinated original red leather upholstery. With thoughtful design features throughout, the cushions also include a series of poppers to fix the removable chair cushions firmly to the frame. With character and continuity, this chair is an excellent piece of mid-century design.
