Grete Jalk Rosewood Coffee Table

Created by acclaimed Danish designer Grete Jalk for Glostrup Mobelfabrik in the 1960s, this piece is a beautiful example of Jalk's talent and consideration. Known mostly for her bent plywood furnishings, Jalk was one of Denmark’s most prolific female modernists. Having mostly designed unique experimental functional objects which are displayed in museums for their ingenuity, Jalk also designed quotidian pieces for consumers.
