Transforming Teak Coffee table

This transforming table is a masterwork of Mid-Century Modern spatial engineering. Designed to address the needs of compact urban living, this versatile piece utilises a sophisticated mechanical lift and extension system to transition seamlessly from a low-profile coffee table to a full-height dining table capable of seating six.

The chassis is equipped with a heavy-duty spring-assisted scissor lift. This internal hardware allows the tabletop to be raised from coffee table height to standard dining height with minimal physical effort.

To expand the surface area, the table features two integrated draw-leaf extensions stored beneath the main top. When deployed, these wings nearly double the tabletop width, providing a stable, level surface for dining.
