Vita Thymann Print

Artist Vita Thymann gained popularity for her work designing figurines for Danish porcelain manufacturer Bing and Grondahl. Thymann's practice extends to sculpture, painting and graphical art.

Thymann's figurines for B&G are soft in colour, naturalistic and delicate figurative expressions. Differing greatly from this piece which is highly graphic, with a bold colour palette and abstract subject matter, worlds away from Thymann's popular style. This piece serves as an excellent example of Thymann's skillset and breadth of style within her artistic practice.
