Bruno Mathsson 'Pernilla' Easy Chair

With its iconic ergonomic silhouette and low centre of gravity, the ‘Pernilla’ easy chair is a favourite of the early Swedish modernist canon. Mathsson’s use of a woven hemp sling seat and solid beech and bentwood for the frame make this chair as comfortable as it is dramatic.
The ‘Pernilla’ was designed in 1941 and remains in production today, this particular chair was manufactured by Karl Mathsson in the 1960s.
